Evaluation of Tom and Jerry Truce Hurts

The sound effects I used for the clip worked quite well. The sounds I recored for the clip were the crashing sounds, running sounds and the alarm clock at the end. These sounds worked really well with the clip. The sounds I got online were little things like the snoring and the pencil writing on the paper. These worked well too because they were sounds that wouldn't work if I tried to record them. I tried to record the pencil on paper but it didn't have the same effect.
I used background music because in between the sound effects I used it was silent and it made the clip seem plain and dull so the music made the clip all come together.
I had some issues with editing because some of the sound effects wouldn't work so I had to start again. Also, getting the sound effects to be in time with the clip was challenging, it all worked well in the end product but it took a lot of moving the sounds around to make it exactly in time.
If I could do anything different with the Tom and Jerry clip I would of taken more time looking into the background music because even though it fit well I would have preferred something that sounded more suited to a cartoon.
Over all, I was pleased with the end product and enjoyed putting it all together.
