Task 3: 'Disconnected' Brief

For the music video 'Disconnected' by Jazz Morely the first shot would be Jazz walking round her old house, this would be a tracking shot. There will be flashbacks as she is walking round the house of Jazz and her brother when they were children, the shots will fade into the flashbacks. The flashbacks happen as the song gets to the line 'You're becoming a stranger'. When the song gets to the line 'I know you're a man now', another fade will happen because now it goes to a mid-shot of her brother walking to a boat to go to Afghanistan, as he is walking away the shot will slightly zoom out to give the effect that he is leaving his sister, Jazz. The shot will then go back to Jazz at her childhood house singing about and to her brother, this shot will be a close-up at first to show the emotion, then zooming out slowly as the shot will cut to her brother fighting in Afghanistan, this will be in slow motion. The end of the song will be Jazz's brother coming back home, she will be waiting there to see him, which will be a mid-shot. Her brother walks off the boat, this shot will be a mid-shot and zooming out. The next shot will be a side view of them both, being so happy to see each other and Jazz also being happy because her brother is home safe. They both hug and there will be a close-up of her crying whilst hugging him.
